Casey Haymes is the blog editor of 12th Street Journal and a Riggio Honors Writing and Democracy student at the New School for Public Engagement. He was a finalist for Black Warrior’s 11th annual writing contest. He has published fiction in Pasatiempo (annual writing contest winner), Flash: The International Short-Short Story Magazine, and LIT. He was selected to read his story at the Hi-Fi Reading Series in New York and awarded a writer residency from The Jentel Foundation.
